Firstly, you should choose whether you want to build your application inside a Docker container, or simply on your host machine. See Environment.

Next, you will need to obtain the Proximie SDK. See Obtaining the SDK.

Finally, you should build the sample applications provided alongside the SDK, to verify that your environment is correctly set up. See Sample applications.
