2.2.21. Hardware Encoders

This section covers hardware-accelerated video encoders available in the Proximie SDK.

Hardware encoders offload video encoding from the CPU to dedicated hardware components (GPU, dedicated video encoding blocks, etc.), resulting in significantly reduced CPU usage and improved overall system performance. This is especially beneficial for applications that need to encode multiple video streams simultaneously or run on resource-constrained systems.
